Having successfully treated my son's multiple serious mental health symptoms with food and nutraceuticals (such that his diagnosis changed and he stopped having seizures), I have become passionate about the link between nutrition and natural medicine and mental and physical health. To better understand this link, I am currently studying for my degree as a Holistic Nutritionist through IHN.
This blog developed as a medium to share my experiences, as well as information and resources I believe citizens can use to make informed choices about health issues. It has since blossomed into a website: stone-soup.ca, which features free newsletters and podcasts, local health related classes and gatherings, info on related community events, and a gluten-free, diabetic catering and brown bag lunch service within the GTA.
